My swimming lesson

Today my swimming instructor taught me how to dive.








This is because I can now swim a whole length.

Pub walk

Yesterday we walked up to the pub in Cookham Dean so I could have a lunch time pint.


Then on the way back we watched the farmer harvesting some oilseed rape by the cricket ground.


I stood by this post so it couldn't hit me.


It was a really hot day.

Trip to Wendover Canal

Today Papa took me to the disused Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal.


Most of it was full of weeds.


But there was still lots to see. Like this really narrow bridge.


I took lots of pictures.


We walked 3 miles to Halton Village.


And then walked back a different way past Halton airbase. Back at the canal, we found this old sluice gate.


Papa said that if I opened it all the water would go out of the canal. I don't think so though?

My garden produce

Hi my lovely audience, Hope you are all doing well. Despite all the rain, we have had a very nice crop this year. Do you know what this is???

If not, it is rhubarb. Of course, the leaves are poisonous so we pack them in bags carefully to throw them away. This year, we have had rhubarb tart, rhubarb fool, rhubarb crumble, --- well, you get the idea. And I love it all.

A very Late Birthday post

This is a very late post because my brother and sister became four on 10th July. They celebrated their special day in India with Masi and Uncle Dannny who are their parents.

We celebrated their birthday as well.

I baked only one cake but as you can see, we put two candles for both of them and I celebrated their birthday by blowing out the candles and cutting the cake on behalf of Meethi and Nikku.

So have a wonderful year and come over to see me very soon.

I am a little busybody today

Today I have been very busy because it is not raining. So first I went shopping with mummy in the village. Then papa took me to the post office. And if that was not enough, I went up Winter Hill for a long old walk as well. But on the way back, look who I met.

There were three horses in all, but only two came over to see us. So Papa and I fed them both.

Then Papa got tired of picking the grass so both my new friends came over to me. I made sure neither one went away hungry.

See, what can happen if you go out for a nice walk in the countryside. This summer I intend to walk a lot. What are your plans for the summer?

Pool Party

Last Sunday, one of my classmates, Laura, held a pool party.

Laura had the party because she is from Spain and she is going back to her country with her family.

I was in the pool throughout the party and had a lot of fun.

Taking photographs in Warren Row

On Saturday we went to a local wood in Warren Row. I took lots of photos because the woods are due to be harvested and replanted soon.








We the drove back via an interesting place which Papa said wasn't safe because of strange people.


It was good to get out because it's rained so much lately.

School sports day

My school sports day was on Thursday. It was changed from Tuesday because of the rain. Here's some pictures of me:

Cycling

On Saturday I went cycling but had a big accident. I fell over a fence into bed of stinging nettles. It hurt lots.

On Sunday I went cycling again in a safer place.

Music concert

Last week I played in my school music concert. I played the recorder.


I played three pieces of music.


I also sang in the singing club.


It was lots of fun and next year I will chose an instrument to learn.
