I am a little busybody today

Today I have been very busy because it is not raining. So first I went shopping with mummy in the village. Then papa took me to the post office. And if that was not enough, I went up Winter Hill for a long old walk as well. But on the way back, look who I met.

There were three horses in all, but only two came over to see us. So Papa and I fed them both.

Then Papa got tired of picking the grass so both my new friends came over to me. I made sure neither one went away hungry.

See, what can happen if you go out for a nice walk in the countryside. This summer I intend to walk a lot. What are your plans for the summer?

Pool Party

Last Sunday, one of my classmates, Laura, held a pool party.

Laura had the party because she is from Spain and she is going back to her country with her family.

I was in the pool throughout the party and had a lot of fun.

Taking photographs in Warren Row

On Saturday we went to a local wood in Warren Row. I took lots of photos because the woods are due to be harvested and replanted soon.








We the drove back via an interesting place which Papa said wasn't safe because of strange people.


It was good to get out because it's rained so much lately.

School sports day

My school sports day was on Thursday. It was changed from Tuesday because of the rain. Here's some pictures of me:

Cycling

On Saturday I went cycling but had a big accident. I fell over a fence into bed of stinging nettles. It hurt lots.

On Sunday I went cycling again in a safer place.

Music concert

Last week I played in my school music concert. I played the recorder.


I played three pieces of music.


I also sang in the singing club.


It was lots of fun and next year I will chose an instrument to learn.

Flying with Papa

Papa took me flying today. We had to get the plane fuelled up and checked out first.


We then watched some parachuting for a while before taking off.


I had to wear these headphones so I could talk to papa over the engine noise.


Here's me flying the plane over Hungerford. I had to really concentrate to keep the plane level. Learning to make turns was difficult but I did them ok. Papa says its because I play on my computer.


We flew all over the place to avoid rain showers. Papa says the plane can fly through rain but it leaks a bit and we'd get wet.


I didn't feel ill while we were flying, even when it was bumpy. Papa says he'll take me again soon.
