Our Heroes - ATS at Shaftesbury, Kevin at Mercedes, Mercedes Benz Customer Services

Hi guys

Hope all of you are doing very well. Here I am, back with my update on my travel. Somehow it is all getting mixed up and I have not talked about what I did on my holiday but it is important that I start at the end rather than the other way because we met some very special people that day.

It all started when we started on our journey back. Just before we got to Yeovil, we started smelling diesel in the car each time we slowed down or stopped but nothing was visible. So we carried on but the smell was getting worse. Hence we decided to stop at Shaftesbury and check the car. Shaftesbury may be very small but boy, is it busy or what. We tried to stop at one place but could not find anywhere to park. Then we went to another parking lot but again there was nothing and we had to wait and wait behind some cars who were happy to sit there for hours, waiting for a space to become available.

This was when my papa found that diesel was pouring out of the engine and he pushed his way out of the car park somehow and told us to jump out as soon as possible. Very luckily for us, as soon as we came out of the car park, we spotted an ATS straight across and we quickly landed there.

We asked the guys to have a look and they were one of the best bunch of hard working and caring guys we have ever met. The manager told the guys to have a look and with in two minutes, they had the car hanging up in the air and then they were under the diesel shower checking out the problem. They then told us that a pipe had failed and we needed to find a Mercedes dealer to sort out the problem because this was a special part. They then took the car out and parked it on their forecourt but asked us to sit and relax till we could do something about it.

My papa then called Mercedes and suddenly the whole machinery swung into action. Within a very short time, the Mercedes mechanic called us and asked what the problem was. He then got my papa to explain and said he would be with us very soon with the part required and fix the problem so that I could go home.

Very soon, the Man from Mercedes came dressed in his full uniform with his very special van. He put on his white gloves and started fixing the car. Everyone gathered around and was very impressed with him. He not only fixed our car but also watered it and cleaned it for a very long time ( Mummy said he was cleaning it but he was using a watering can and the water was going into the engine and then into the ground so I think he was watering it). He was very professional and very efficient and then also talked to me very nicely. He told me I could go home straightaway and did not have to go and sleep at a hotel.

All through, the team at ATS also helped Kevin with his work. They offered him water for cleaning the car and also anything else he needed. They even gave my mummy a coffee. They were very very kind to us. And that is how I got to get back home and sleep in my bed.

So thankyou very much Kevin from Mercedes team for not only being very good with the car but also being very nice to us. And also the super team at ATS Shaftesbury, for being genuinely nice people. You are all great and we will always think of you all with great affection.

PS My papa says that the visit from the Mercedes van cost him an arm and a leg. But he still has two arms and two legs. So where did the spare arm and leg come from? Can you help me to understand?

Happy Rakhi to All, especially my Sister

Hi all

Here I am again but this time, this post is a day late. Yesterday was Rakhi day and my lovely sister had sent me a Rakhi all the way from India.

Actually when I say one Rakhi, she sent me many and also a lovely card.

Since she can not be here with me, my mummy tied all the Rakhis and also applied a tikka on my forehead. Would you like to see all the Rakhis on me?

I would love to thank my Masi who bought all the Rakhis to do with my name since there is one Ganesha Rakhi and two Krishna Rakhis. A Ben 10 Rakhi, ummmmmmmmmm, but Thankyou very much Masi. I hope you like them.

Do you know while I was not there, my little brother was and he got to wear a rakhi from my baby sis and here they are. Don't they look gorgeous?

Happy Raksha Bandhan to all of you.

A Big Thankyou to the Family

Hi my lovely audience

Here I am, back from my holiday, lost because I don't know what to do. I did so much over the last week, I can't sit still and the only thing that keeps me shuffling in my chair, are some cartoons.

But enough about me. This post is to thank my family who live in lovely Devon and made me feel very special.

First of all, I want to tell you about my Dadima (she is my papa's mummy). I stayed with her for the holiday and she took me to so many places that I will have to write about it slowly.

She let me feed her cat and play with it too. The cat is called Charlie and he was very hairy and very cuddly. I loved him. I gave him loads of treats and he kept going round my leg. It was very tickly.

I also met John and he was very nice to me and took us all to the beach where I played and played. So thankyou John and Dadima for my lovely holiday.

On this trip, I also met my Uncle Matt and Aunty Jo. My cousins James and Laura also live in their house. Laura was really lovely and she played with me. We even rode on the train together.

James is so big and clever, he could not only move the ball properly but even spin the plate.

Uncle Matt showed me loads of trains and Aunty Jo just ran from the camera but here they are, because we did manage to catch them. Sorry, Aunty Jo but you are famous now and the whole world can see you.

I want to thank all of you for taking me to Beer and giving me a lovely day out with the trains. I will tell you all about my trip later.

Of course, I also went to see Uncle Stephen and Aunty Helen too. They had a house which was upside down. Their garden was very nice because it had a spitting lion, a frog guarding a dead pet and loads of sunflowers. I love sunflowers and froggies so I really like his garden.

They also had a cat who is called Oscar and is very very very old. He just lay in the door and everyone had to jump over him. He was a very nice colour. I also met my cousin Alex. She is very very very pretty as you can see and got up very early especially to meet me. Oh yes, they also had a spotty loo which I want as well.

So this is my lovely family and I want to thank them all for giving me a very special holiday. I love you all.

How are you all

Hi all
I know I have not been as active as I would like but you see, I was not very well. I had to drink a lot of medicine and every time I tried to play, I was asked to rest. Now why would I do that?
I had another shock in store when my bike was destroyed by my papa. He just took the stabilisers off. I was very good at riding it and there it is now, falling everywhere. Then mummy keeps asking me to look up but when you fall, you fall down. I tell you, these adults are impossible. I was also made to slide down a silly pole. Why should I do these stunts; why is it necessary to do so to grow up?
Mummy forced me to go around all the things in the park that I don't like doing. What if you fall down whether it is from two inches or two metres? It still hurts and hurt pride is worse than anything else.
As I said I was not very well but I am posting a picture of a model that I made a while ago. OK, papa helped me but that was just moral support.

I am off on a short, wet and cold holiday very soon and as soon as I am back, I will tell you about all the things that I did.
In the meantime, all of you be good and let me know if someone has shouted at you as well.

Early morning tryst with ducks and swans and more

Hi all
Here I am back sooner than I thought because I have had such a busy busy busy day. First thing this morning, I went on a mini adventure to the river. On the way, I picked some flowers for my mummy but then she lost them. Typical, isn't she of a girl. You give them flowers and they can't even take care of them. I was upset but then I found some more and even carried them home for her. I know she likes them and so I always get some for her. I also spotted some rosemary but she won't let me cross the road; no idea why because I am so much more safety conscious than her.

But I digress as I am wont to do; my mummy thinks I make word salad all the time.

So we went to the river and guess what, we could not find any ducks. May be they were sleeping. It was only after walking for ten minutes that we found two and soon they called their friends on the duck mobile network and suddenly there were many. We had carried loads of bread and you can see me throwing it all in. But for some reason, my mummy kept shouting at me to stay away from the water and not fall in; what does she think I am, a child?

Anyway we finished all the bread and were coming back and suddenly we came across this lovely family of swans. Mummy swan had brought out all the four babies but I was very unhappy because we did not have any food for them. So I sat down and told them to stay put and I would bring them food another day. I think they understood because they were looking at me.

Do you know what my papa did all this while? He just slept at home. When we came back, he was moving around but mummy said he was still sleeping and it is called sleep walking.

After a while, I went out to drive my car in the garden and had a big accident. The car toppled over when it crashed into some blades of grass as I came across a sharp corner and even a full lock on the steering did nothing. I was standing on the brakes but that also did not help. I had to cry loud before the adults heard me and carried me in. Mummy sat down on the sofa with me on her lap and offered to give me a hug to make me feel better, but I don't do that sort of thing because I was okay except it hurt everywhere. I drank some water and that always makes me feel much better.

I thought that was that for the day but then suddenly I got to go to a historic house with a friend and his father and after that, I went to their house for my evening meal. I had a lovely burger, followed by a strawberry lolly.

And now I am so tired that I am going to have to throw a tantrum so that I can prove I am not a child. I will see you all soon again.

Do tell if you have had an exciting day like this recently.

Phew! What a very busy weekend

Hi everyone
I thought I should come and tell you about my very busy weekend. Yesterday, I went to do my martial arts class after which I went to a Church which is dedicated to a saint who is my namesake. It was a very quick but nice visit. Guess, who is hiding behind the gate. My mummy, of course. She loves to hide for photos.

Today, I went to a big pool party because a class friend is going back to Australia and it was a farewell do. I swam and swam and played games and danced in the water with my friends. It was most enjoyable. You can see how everyone was dancing to the music.

We finished with pizza and sausages and crisps. Of course, to spoil the party, there also were obligatory tomatoes, carrot batons and sundry fruit. What do they think we are, little rabits? But I don't mind because I left all the healthy food for another day. As it is, my mummy never lets me eat any decent food ever and it is only when I go to a party, can I have some decent stuff.

As if that was not enough excitement for the day, I was playing upstairs when I heard something going on in the garden. You know how adults are; whenever it is something interesting they never tell you. Anyway, we have had a Mr Rat coming to the garden since we live out in the countryside and we have set two traps to catch him and take him to his mummy and daddy who live on the farm behind the main road. I have taken him there twice before, but somehow he keeps coming back and we have to catch him again and again. But it was not Mr Rat, who was trapped in the cage. It was Monsieur Hedgehog. We put him in a little box and gave him some milk and bread though we checked and found out later that milk is not very good for their little tum-tums.

But Monsieur Hedgehog did drink some milk and then we took him to the farm. What I don't understand is how all the little animals have their houses at the farm and run away from their mummy and daddy all the time and then we have to take them back home. On the way back, we also stopped and watched the local cricket match. I love going to the cricket ground and watching the matches. Because the weather was good for once, I stood and enjoyed the match. Maybe you would like to share the moment too.

So after all this excitement, I am off to bed. Oh did I mention, I also managed to knock my chin on the poolside though mummy says it is nothing but it is bright red, red as the tomato I picked from the garden and had earlier on today.

Tomorrow, I am off for an early morning walk with my mummy because my papa sleeps for very long. If I see something interesting, I will come back and tell you all. Would you like that? Also why not tell me, how your weekend was.

Early mornings and the Old Line in the garden

Hi
I have been so busy with doing so many things I have not been back for a while but here I am again. It is holidays and since I like to wake up just after five, and I want to play and jump around in the morning, it is very difficult. My mummy keeps telling me to go to sleep and I don't want to so I go and make a little model and show her and a second one and a third one. I don't know why she does not appreciate all the hard work I put in, so early in the morning while all she does, is try to go back to sleep unsuccessfully. I have learned a new trick though; if she starts getting annoyed, I give her a big sloppy kiss and say I love you and then she does not get angry. May be that is a useful tip for you.
Meanwhile, my old line in the garden is getting replaced as I reported earlier. This is one of the photos of the old line with a train, I got a few months ago. I thought you might like to see it before it is all gone and replaced with the new layout. Have fun and I will be back soon with some exciting news. Meanwhile, keep kissing and hugging.

Meet My Wheels

Hi All
Here I am with my pride and joy. My very own set of wheels which I keep parked and hidden in my shed and bring out only on special occasions. The top speed on my car is a staggering 15 miles an hour and I am never allowed to go full throttle.
I will write a more detailed road test with my car in future. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on my fabulous motor. Do you like it?
